These terms cover using vanstock.trade and joining the Founding 500 before launch. The app will have its own terms when it goes live. You'll see and accept those before you pay for anything.

1. Who we are

vanstock.trade is run by VAN STOCK TRADE LTD (company no. 17464436), registered office 137 Johnstone Road, Southend-on-Sea, SS1 3NG. Contact: beacon@vanstock.trade.

2. Using this website

  • The site tells you about VanStock Trade and lets you join the launch list. Nothing is for sale on it yet.
  • Don't misuse it: no fake signups, no bots, no trying to break or overload the forms.
  • We try to keep everything accurate, but features, prices and launch dates can change before launch.
  • The VanStock Trade name, logo, radar mark and site content belong to us. Don't copy them without asking.
  • Links to other sites (social media, app stores) are there for convenience. We're not responsible for those sites.

3. The Founding 500

Who can join

  • You must be 18 or over and working in a trade, or running a trade business, in the UK.
  • One place per person. Each place needs its own verified UK mobile number and email address.

How places are given out

  • There are 500 founding places across all trades.
  • A place only counts once your mobile number is verified by text code. Places go in the order verified signups reach us. Your founding number shows that order.
  • If two signups arrive at almost exactly the same moment for the last place, we may honour both.
  • Once all 500 are taken, you can still join the launch list. You won't get founding pricing.
  • We can remove a place that uses false details, duplicates another place, or was made by a bot. We'll tell you if we do.

What founding members get

  • You lock in the launch price of the Beacon Saver or Pro/Fleet Pass subscription for life. If you upgrade from Beacon Saver to Pro/Fleet Pass, you get Pro/Fleet Pass at its launch price. If you move down from Pro/Fleet Pass to Beacon Saver, you pay the standard Beacon Saver price and founding pricing ends.
  • Site Pass, Shop Pass, Enterprise plans, pay-as-you-go beacons and one-off in-app purchases aren't covered.
  • If we raise the price of your plan later, yours stays the same. VAT is charged at the rate in force at the time.
  • "For life" means while you keep your subscription going. If you cancel or a payment fails, you keep founding pricing as long as you resubscribe within 30 days. After 30 days it ends.
  • Founding status belongs to you as a person. If you move to a business you own or run (for example, you go limited), email us and it moves with you. It can't be sold or passed to anyone else.

No commitment

  • Joining is free. You don't have to subscribe when we launch.
  • At launch everyone gets a 14-day free trial. You'll need a card on file. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, it becomes a paid subscription. We'll show the price and remind you before any charge.

If launch plans change

We're launching in the London to Southend corridor first. If we delay or change the launch, we'll tell the list. If VanStock Trade never launches, founding places end and no money will have changed hands.

4. Our liability

The website is provided free and as it is. We're not liable for losses caused by the site being unavailable or for decisions made from its content, except where the law doesn't allow us to limit liability (for example, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Nothing here affects your statutory rights.

5. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms before launch. We'll change the date at the top and email the list about anything that affects founding members. We won't take away founding pricing from anyone who already has a place.

6. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.
